It's that time of the year again when the Amador Central Railroad offers the best of Amador County’s beauty and historical experience in Mother Lode.

Please join the Amador Central Railroad for a Geology & History Excursion on June 28, 2025. The Railroad will host a nostalgic short-line railroad ride. Enjoy the springtime scenic beauty as you ride on track from a different era, climbing the uphill that twists and turns through the rolling hills. Relish the trackside stops on the way up as railroad history and geology experts share their knowledge.

Enjoy the old-fashioned hotdog cart at the end of track in Martell. Sit and enjoy the beautiful views before returning back to Ione.

Report time: from 8:30 to 8:45 am at 401 Hunter Lane, Ione, CA 95640 (follow signs for AMC set-on)

Safety meeting: at 9:00 am

Boarding: at 9:15 am

The cost: $60 per seat

Please wear closed-toe shoes! Bring your water bottle.
